MCCABE NAMED DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – November 3, 2008 – ABS is pleased to announce Mike McCabe has joined Genus Americas as the Director of Marketing.
“Mike’s 20 years of agriculture industry expertise and strong marketing background make him an asset to our team,” stated Ian Biggs, Chief Operating Officer of Genus Americas. “We are excited to have him working with the ABS and PIC teams and look forward to working with him to enhance and strengthen our communication both within our business and to our customers.”
McCabe has worked within various roles for an animal health company for the past seven years. Most recently, McCabe has been working with Latin America, Asia and Canada subsidiaries and distributors to develop strategic business and marketing plans. He has also worked with new product introduction, brand management, supply chain integration and key account management.
McCabe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Drake University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University.
As the Director of Marketing, McCabe will focus his efforts on overseeing both the ABS and PIC Communications Departments. He will gather and analyze market data and determine opportunities for growth of ABS and PIC, and will work to better communicate with growing livestock and porcine operations throughout North and South America.
