Purchase of Unlimited Solutions, Inc, (USI) Lombard, IL Finalized

OMAHA, NEB August 13, 2008. The purchase of Unlimited Solutions, Inc, (USI) Lombard, IL was finalized today by a group of investors led by Gottsch Enterprises and partnering with Lutz Software Solutions, an affiliate of Lutz & Company, P.C., a leading Midwest certified public accounting firm based in Omaha, NE. The partnership acquired the rights to the cattle feeding and management software package CattleXpertTM and all of its derivative products and names. The new company will operate under the name of CattleXpert Management Software LLC. more

Herefords Are First U.S. Beef Cattle Imported to Kazakhstan

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A jumbo jet loaded with 253 Hereford cattle left Chicago O’Hare International Airport, then 48 hours and 12,000 miles later, the cattle arrived at their destination in southeastern Kazakhstan on June 22. It was an historic event; the group was the first U.S. beef cattle to be imported to Kazakhstan. more

Mid-year report: Farm machinery exports gain 30.5 percent

Exports of U.S. agricultural-related equipment to nations around the world topped $5.8 billion dollars for the first half of 2008 compared to mid-year 2007 numbers, for an increase of 30.5 percent, according to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).
