Limousin Breeders Parade 91 Entries at Southeast Summer Classic
The Southeast Summer Classic (SSC) Medal of Excellence (MOE) Limousin show was June 22 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Judge John Rayfield of Raleigh, N.C., sorted nine Lim-Flex® females, a Lim-Flex bull, 66 Limousin females and 15 Limousin bulls.
In the Limousin bull show, DVFC Blaque Luv 117T won the grand-champion banner after winning Division 4. Deer Valley Farm, Fayetteville, Tenn., and Thomas and Son, Boonsboro, Md., exhibited the Jan. 15, 2007, son of GPFF Blaque Rulon.
The reserve grand champion Limousin bull was KYLD Daytona 730T, the Division 2 champion. The May 15, 2007, son of KRVN Naskar 013N belongs to Kyle Delaplaine, Gettysburg, Pa.
DVFC Sophie 923S, the winner of Division 5, went on to claim the title of grand champion Limousin female. Lacy Stephens, Buford, Ga., owns the Sept. 18, 2006, daughter of Carrousels Nasdaq.
DVFC Fergie 109T followed her win in Division 4 by claiming reserve grand champion Limousin female. Austen Etherton, Dawson, Ill., owns the Jan. 9, 2007, daughter of EXLR Native 7133N.
Kelly Long, Lynchburg, Ohio; Wolfridge Land and Livestock, Maysville, Ky.; and HB Farms Limousin, Midway, Ky., own the grand champion Lim-Flex bull. Logans Remix 303T is a March 3, 2007, son of KRVN Naskar 013N out of G H G Forever Lady 565.
EXLR Scotch Cap 191S won grand champion Lim-Flex female. Corinne Harrison, Minier, Ill. owns the Oct. 2, 2006, daughter of LESF Asphalt 9N out of EXLR Scotch Cap 1005N.
Harrison also had the reserve grand champion Lim-Flex female in JW Summitcrest Erica 4130. She is an Oct. 14, 2007, daughter of EF Main Stay 541M out of B L R Erica 7086.
