DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – July 30, 2008 – ABS Global is pleased to announce Gene Ryg as the ABS Canada Beef Program Manager.
“Gene brings a terrific attitude and a wealth of knowledge of the North American Beef Industry to ABS Canada,” stated ABS Canada General Manager, Darren Fehr. “We’ll look to Gene to develop and direct innovative programs to significantly enhance our customers profit positions.”
Ryg comes to ABS Canada with extensive A.I. industry experience. His role with ABS Canada will have a developmental focus on A.I. and reproductive solutions coupled with a goal to involve customers in a high demand, premium priced supply chain where solid genetics and top management reap top rewards.
Ryg and his wife Vinee’ have a small herd of registered Black Angus cattle near Chinook, Montana. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in agricultural education. Ryg was raised on a dairy, beef and swine farm in Minnesota.
